Free Distance Learning Lesson Plans for Kindergarten

We are all trying to get used to distance learning, and we know it’s not easy. Lalilo is working to help teachers however we can. We’ve put together 3 weeks of free lesson plans that you can use for distance learning for Kindergarten. All the websites in our plans are parent friendly and offering free access during school closures. Read on to learn how to get the most out of these free lesson plans.

Use the lesson plans as is by clicking download. If you want to make it your own, you can click here to make a copy of the Google Doc and edit it to fit your needs.

How to Use Lalilo’s Distance Learning Lesson Plans

To use these plans, advise parents to create accounts for Mystery Science, Bookflix and BrainPop Jr. All of these sites are offering free access to teachers and families. Using their own email address and password, parents can easily create an account and get started.

Using Lalilo

To help students access Lalilo at home, first make a free teacher account. If you don’t already have one, it’s quick and easy to sign up. Watch this quick video to learn how to set up a teacher account. Then email the parent invites to families. Check out this video to see how it’s done.

Using Zearn

You will also need to create a teacher account for Zearn and send families students’ usernames and passwords. Zearn is also completely free for teachers and families. Zearn created this video that explains how to get started.

Once you have set up your teacher accounts and families are able to access all the websites, you can send this plan to them. You could even make a quick video to walk parents through the lesson plans on loom. Creating loom videos is quick and easy and will help minimize questions later on.

    1. You can actually create a homeschool parent account during signup. If you have any trouble with this, you can always chat with our customer support team on
